Card reader not working

The card reader on my pc doesnt work. Doesnt recognise a card when i put one in.
Any ideas?

Open up the case... check connections? have u tried using a different card and does that work?

Have only tried the one card because thats all i have.
I will take the side off and check the connections.

Would say its more likely the card, does the card work in anything else?

Yes card works fine.
