Car cuts out

When i give it some welly, it will just cut out, im not hitting the limiter, pretty sure im not, and even if you hit the limiter is it supposed to just turn off?

What rpm do ou hit the limiter is it only when cold etc?

About 5500/6000 then it just dies

Limiter is 6250 on the 1.2 16v iirc, and it shouldn't be stopping anyway.
