Cams and / or Chip in an RT

i know hill power do this but are there any other companies that do cams for the RT, has anyone had this done on this forum?

If i say got my car chipped only would it make much of a difference or do you really need to get cams aswell to make anything of the chip?

only enquiring as i am more interested in getting a valver engine in but the insurance is high so cams seem like another option as there hidden and i woulndt declare them.

You won't see any gains with cams and a remap realy.

Not declaiirng is a stupid thing to do if you cannot afford the mods don't do them.

Valvers a waste 2.0 bottom end is a better start.

I believe that Hill power do quite a bit for the 1.4, though the poster above me would be the best person to ask . You can get quite good gains from the 1.4 tbh if you were to do some heardwork as well as cams and re-map. Chris_H over on retro-renault managed to get 13bhp extra, iirc, from a ph3 1.4 with head work alone so there is a good bit more power to be had out of them. And personally I wouldn't worry about the insurance if you're putting cams in .
