Burning Rubber

Over the last few days when i have got home from work, my car seems to smell a lot like burning rubber. i can smell it insure the car aswell as outside?

and i don't think its the tyres.

could it be the coolant hoses?

have you checked yourt tyes aren't rubbing on anything ???

Could be the clutch, they have a rubbery kind of smell... has it been slipping lately?

Also check for tyre rub...

wont be tyre rub. not low enough..........yet
would be clutch noticed the acceleration seems bit crap in 1st it revs to limit really fast but speed of car dont seem to match the revs.

is there any way i can check this?

Try and pull away with the handbrake up. See what the clutch does!

check to see if anything has been caught on the exhaust, i had a carrier bag catch around the cat, stank for weeks.

my handbrake it crap atm so it would prob just go like normal, lol

gonna check the exhaust tomorrow but it smells more like rubber than plastic.

Isnt up a hill in 5th a good clutch test? or am i completly wrong ha?
