If I get these for my full beams only (So they will not affect other drivers, only the w**kers who think its cool to have fog lights on!) does anyone know if the higher temperatures are likely to melt the reflector/glass in my head light? Heard about it happening to a scooby with PIAA bulbs in it!

dont think it will melt anything....id be more worried about the extra UV the lamps will give off - remember the front covers on the 172/Cup lights are Polycarbonate - and Polycarbonate dont like strong UV!

But for the amount of time ud actually have them on.....
