I've had the BG a year now and always said I'd get the front end sorted before really detailing it. 8 weeks ago she had the full front end and rear bumper. So I set to sorting her out whilst I had a nice gap between bookings.
So I opted for wet sanding the bonnet, top half of the wings and front bumper. Paper used was 1500,2000,2500,3000. All in a warm bucket of water with soap and a sanding block. I also did the roof as there was some very deep water etching marks on there that's been bugging me for a while now!
Slow process but it was worth doing! The rest of the car was cut back with Cartec green compound on the rotary and refined with Sonax Final finish. Panel wipe down then followed up with Carpro's Essence ready for the CQuartz coating.
I've also just started detailing an 8c spider, which is absolutely gorgeous! Teaser pic at the end ...
