Best way to use scratch-x?

Got some scratch-x yesterday and gave it a try on my front wing. Went over it 3 times by hand and didn't notice any difference at all. just wondering what the best way to use it is? Don't say PC as I don't have one. Was applying it with a foam pad and rubbing off with a microfibre thingy

Use a folded cotton terry towel, it gives more bite than a foam pad. You need to use quite alot of pressure and work it till it back and forth long enough to do its job. Its not a wipe on wipe of product you need to work it. Multiple applications and hard work should improve things. You wont be able to get it 100% perfect with it though.
