Best tyres for Turinis on 172

I was thinking of getting 16" Speeline Turinis for my 172 MK2.

K-Tec provide a package that includes Toyo T1-S tyres. What are the best tyes to get for day-to-day road use.

A lot of this is down to personal opinion/preference, so you might well get a lot of different views. IMO Toyos are great if youre on a budget. If money is no object you might try Goodyear Eagles (for double the price). The Toyos wont last as long, but they do grip very well.

i have goodyear eagle gsd3s on mine and they are amazing, im really happy with them, got mine from mytyres for £65 (but i think they have gone up again, the prices will go back down though).

myyres have also got some michelin pilot exalto 2s at the moment for £65, there supposed to be good also, they deliver free and will deliver to ktec if you need them too

Ive got the toyos and love em. VVV good in the dry not so good in the wet.

How about the exlato (spelling) 2 as fitter to the 182 cup pk

Thanks for the replies. I wanted a good all-rounder. To be honest Ive been happy with the original Firestones. They are amazing in the wet, but Im always looking for something better.

Might give the Exalto 2s a try.
