Belt change in Aberdeen

My 182 is coming up for 35k miles so since i have money and its almost due i thought i would get the timing belt and aux belts changed. Can anyone recommend a good but reasonably priced garage to get this done at? cheers

Yeah think thats where they are. No idea about tools. I'd imagine so

You could try Renault in Bechin aswell.

will phone around a few places. dont know if i would trust evans halshaw or no. was in yesterday picking up washer jets and asked how much a 182 splitter would be, the guy went away for almost 10 mins then come back and says "its not giving me a price with out putting in a reg plate. so if you get a reg plate of one i could check for you" told him i had one then he said it was something like £130 then vat :dead:

I had mixed opinions about that Evans Halshaw up by Shell/Altens. Sometimes I felt I was getting good service, other times bad service. Can't shed any light on the belt changes there though buddy. Think they're near Langstracht/Mastrick now too? I enquired about mudflaps from them once and was shocked at the price (at the time, I'd thought they'd help the look of my car). I don't remember what they quoted me but it was a rip off! Was considering going to Overton but think I just left it in the end.

dont know if you could be bothered with the trip down to Glasgow for the day but Kenny Brown is highly recommended

mine is in there the now getting both belts and water pump done for £460 (inc everything)

Go to Brechin, they are suppose to be really good. That's where I was going to put mine in next year. Though I might drive to a specialist in england depending on prices/if I need to go south/getting some mods as well.
