Baffle went in my exhaust..?

ive been told this is what the noise is...

now on my 182...do i need a full exhaust replacement? or just a section removed...etc


plus if so, how much are they gonna pillage me for pounds wise...

Centre section baffles @ 4k rpm most probably.

Should be done under warranty if it's a 182.

its on its 3rd service...

ie 48thou....

so its not a full exhaust job..?

Nah just a section needs replacing. Do NOT pay for it.

Despite what any dealer says Renault know all too well it's a very common fault so if at first they refuse to fix it call Renault UK and moan as much as is necessary.

so its a "exhaust baffle" replacement fight...just like my "rear shocks replacement" fight..(which i won)

I've had 7 (yes seven) replacement sections on my Mk2 172 and Cup combined and they've never tried to argue the toss apart from the very last one. A quick call to Renault UK and within 10 minutes the same dealer that fobbed me off was calling back to arrange it's replacement.

Kiev.....i'm on my 3rd standard system in 7k (had the car from new, late 05 55 plate)...parks in hamilton have replaced mine every time under warranty....like Griff said if you need anymore info give me a shout.
