Has anyone had a situation where after having the radio playing for about 5 min, it comes up with "demo mode" and it starts running through all the set ups and options? If so how do i get rid of this? Ihave a alpine IDA-x001 to be specific

try the menu mate. there should be an option to turn it on or off. tahts the case in the x-100

I dont believe so, if youre talking about all the settings balance, fader, bass etc, then no it doesnt reset. Just starts going through all the functions and setups available...then if i press a button or change the volume it goes back to normal, for a few minutes and then "demo mode" again :dead:

on the x-100 if you hold down one of the setting buttons (cant remeber off the top of my head which one) it comes up with a main menu thing that allows you to change display colour, settings for the ipod connection and right at the bottom there is one that turns demo mode on and off. il have a look later at which button it is for you.
