alarm to sensitive

heya all, my neighbour has a v reg clio, not sure its either 1.4 16v or 1.6 16v .....anyway hte alarm constantly goes off for no aparent reason ,,, what could this be ?? and if the worst comes to the worst can i disconect the alarm ?? and where do i disconect it to ??
