adjusting handbrake



  RS Clio 182
iv done a search but cant find anything, the handbrake on my 182ff isnt holding very well and the lever is coming very high, anyone know how to adjust them. cheers in advance

Easy job to be honest. It's under the middle heat shield. Remove for access. and it's just a nut that needs tightening at the junction from the main brake cable to the lever and the two rear cables. Most of the time is spend jacking the car up to be honest.

One of the cables might have snapped saying that. Jack up the rear, apply the handbrake and see if either of the wheels will spin. If not, just give it a tighten
