Acceleration Whine

My first post here. Had a browse and found similar problems, but nothing specific to the problem I'm having.

Symptoms are:

1st, 2nd and 3rd gear - when accelerating there is a whining sound. Barely noticeable at lower revs but gets louder as revs increase.

4th and 5th gear - no whine

When stationary in neutral, there is still a whining sound when the accelerator is pressed.

Gear leaver seems to jump around a bit when releasing clutch, but I've heard this is normal for clios.

The car has only done 47k miles.

Any help would be appreciated

Put a power flex dog bone mount on it , will help stop the gear stick jumping

I've started to get a whine in 5th

Yeah figured it was something with the gear box. Planning on changing the oil to see if that makes a difference.

Might get a new mount, but to be honest it doesn't bother me that much. Then again, a stable gearbox would be a positive.
