ABS/SERV lights on

  Renault Clio 1.5dCi 80hp
ok excuse me if this is a silly question, but I'm not so clued up with clio's, I tend to let the garage do the work... but this time I'm going to have to do it myself (well, my BF is!) as it's a very tight deadline... i.e. tomorrow

the ABS/Service lights have come on, which I beleive having read a few threads on here is likely to be either an ABS sensor gone or the ABS rings. I also read that by removing the fuse and reinserting it, it would turn the light off... is this true?

reason I ask is that I've got my MOT booked tomorrow and obviously it won't pass with the abs light lit up.

my other option is to remove the bulb, but I can't seem to find the guide on here for removing the dash/speedo binnacle - anyone able to help?

sorry for all the questions, but I'm kinda stuck and I've got my BF here waiting to get out on it and look at it for me. pity he's a Vauxhall man rather than renault, or I wouldn't be having this problem :(
