Right got this piece of s**t through the post today. No, it isnt the bloody GX2.

Its an XFX 7900GTX-Duo. Ive never heard of the bloody thing. Not only that i cant find much on how good the card was. No records of it on the Nvidia site or the XFX site. But then there isnt even anything on the GX2. Its allmost as though the card was an embarrasment to them and was never made.

Right so the thing wont display, and the card beeps 3-4 times on startup. Ideas ? Yes its plugged in and all that. ive got a 7900GTX btw so its not like i dont have a gcard.

Fan plugged in,try re-seating it and blow out the slot.

tried. the 7900gtx is in now and working fine.

think itll be the processor on the duo card or the ram.

ebay a while ago. i think the card is about a year or two old now. ill gie them a try.


its legit and everything, there are some records of it, but finding info on a voodoo card is easier than this.

lol. i knew it existed n stuff. but now finding bios updates to the card seems to be impossible, the duo and the GX2 are like two myths.

im going to pay a human being to determine the problem with the gpu.

yes i know it was a little joke ! not many people seem to have one and they are sledom mentioned. places do still sell them but they arent exactly ............ common.

7900GTX Duo - basically 2 lower cards in SLI, and primarily used for the quad SLI setups. Apparently prone to overheating,very power hungry, and temperamental with certain motherboards. Ditch it...

its prolly overheated then and burned out. I know they were the first of some for the quad sli setups. Ive got 7900gtx now. will the duo be better or worse than the 7900gtx?
