60mm lower on PH1 172 help

hi all i cant decide what to go for 40mm or 60mm.

what is all your opinions on what size?

Don't go for 60mm on standard dampers.

40mm as i reckon 60mm will be a bit harsh

I had a 1.8 16v mk1 and it was lowered 100mm and it was absolutely awful for little dips in the road and speed bumps.. Had a 106GTI which was 60mm drop and that IMO wasn't too bad..
