53 plate brakes

tryin to change front barke pads on a 1.2 16v , looks like the caliper is held on with a 9mm allen key bolt , is this the correct size ? if so is this size a Renault only part as ive tryed various car part stores with no joy. I need to get these changed as cars due MOT next week!!!

you need a 17mm and a 13mm spanner IIRC, haven't done a 1.2 16V for ages

They should't be held on with allon bolts, 13and 18mm spanners from memory.

the allen key part is to hold the caliper onto the carrier, you dont need to touch them to change the pads
