24k service(new oil)

Just had my 24k service and it cost me an astounding £231 from renault croydon, the problem was I had to pay £60 for the new engine oil recomended for the 172 elf ultimate oil 5/40 and they do not buy it in bulk so I had to buy 2x 4litres.

Has anyone been advised to use this oil??

I was charged £11.70 per litre and they charged me for 6.5 litres when the engine only takes 5.5 litres.

The oil was Mobil 1 and I believe it should have been Mobil 1 competition.

Awaiting a reply from the M.D. one week has now gone by.
