182 tyres, help!

need new boots soon, does anyone know if the pe2s (205/45/16v) on a 182 with cup susp pack (anthracite wheels) have specially developed stiffer sidewalls?
what do you use on your 182's?:S

There was only ever one 205/45/16v PE2 and it was put on all 182s, both with or without Cup packs, and on the Trophy.

It turned out that there was only one tyre produced in the end.

Same as the myth with the Contisportcontacts on the 172 cup. The rumour went round that the red dot on the sidewall made them bespoke to the car...bag of s**t! lol.

Personally I love the PE2s, but I'd also been very happy with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s on my 172.
