182 tuner list to Aug?

Firstly sorry but I've read all the threads and they are so contradictory.

I've got the tuner list not update.

What I want is a simple auxiliary to ipod 3.5 mm jack but keep reading that I need different units like connects 2etc. I realise I will lose all but volume control from the steering wheel stalk but will I keep radio?

What is the difference between the basic cable and the connects 2 box @30 ish quid?

I thought connects 2 kept stalk controls? MTAudio should be able to answer that.

Oh that would be good, is that the one with the box that goes online then at around £30
