172 Transmission Problems...advice please??

Hope someone can help...

I have recently fitted a new coil pack to my 172. It was working great until i took it for a drive and when it had warmed up all of a sudden, the car was hesitating in the lower gears and sometimes in third and fourth.

Its like it is missfiring. I have since started it from cold again and its fine until it warms up.

I fitted the old spark plugs again before i used the new coil pack as the Bosch ones are to blame for the old coil pack packing in! Could it be that i need new plugs?

I have also noticed quite low MPG reading too.

Pretty sure using the correct NGK ones is the way to go.
