172 engine mounts

does anyone know where i can get a set of uprated 172 engine and gearbox mounts, or even if they are available. surely the clio cup cars dont use standard mounts

any help would be much appreciated, cheers

Clio Cup proper race cars have competly different gearbox and engine mounts.
The Ktec bottom mouth is the popular one to change since it get soft quite quick.

I found aplace selling real uprated mount from some Clio race series (Group N rally cars I'd guess) but they were £660 +vat + postage from abroad. Fred at Yozzasport is suppse to be look at some uprated cheaper ones however personally if you'rs are bad I'd get the Ktec bottom mount fix the top moung and accept the gearbox and 4th gearbox one might need changing.

With uprated mounts the loads if just passed to other bits of the car. The Ktec one won't be long till it gets a repuation for wearing the other prematurly IMO.
