172 disks and pads

are the standard disks and pads the same as whats on the 182?

evo reckoned they was better in the 182 than the 172 how come?

Maybe they had a car with less wear (brakes may have had some air in them etc) more grippy tyres who knows. The 182 pads for the first about 50% of there wear are less effective than the old 172 pads due to there chamfers the difference isn't huge though.
