172 cup service light

im going to look at a cup this afternoon. for what reasons would the service light be on for?

would it be on when its due for one of its services. its had its 24k service already.

so if its on does it mean there is a problem?

yea the light only comes on if theres a problem somewhere..apperently, never comes on when its due for a service..hopes its a good one buddy

The "serv" light comes on when there is an electrical fault on the car - usually along with a square box with a zig zag in it or the airbag light. It will need to go on a "clip" diagnostic computer to have the problem diagnosed and corrected
