172 Cup Leeds (Kirkstall Rd)

Tonight at about 8:40pm(ish), I was in a filthy AG200 sat at the lights.

Hi m8, that wasnt me then. But it was me who had a nice little play (if you can call it that lol) on the double lane dual carriageway just after john o gaunts. Gave u a lil thumbs up as u went past. AG bar far the best colour for a 200 imo!

, Firstly anyone who thinks that a 200 (all be it full of fuel) can out gun a 172 cup (which to be fair was full of passengers).......I can confirm it doesnt happen.
I wasnt gaining any noticeable ground and you werent pulling away which just confirmed to me just how good the 172cup is.
Very rare anyone 'gives it the beans' tbh with me and rare I bother too but when your mate was turning around in the back I thought "will he?" then you did so I thought "go on then, theres no one about".....would have had ya if you didnt get the jump on me
Just a heads up , I backed off just before it starting going around that slight bend, last Friday there was a copper there with a speed gun matey(not that we were speeding but you never know if his guns malfunctioning). Only seen him once but just be wary on that bit of road at the min. Was going to flash but hoped you would back off when I did which you did.
Was a excellent example of a 172 cup mate , really well looked after that!!

thanks for the warning m8, i travel along there most days and tend to give it some beans when no one is around. So its gud to know to be careful. its funny you say that because i saw a highway officer jobby sat in the same place the other day but didnt think anything of it. Ha ha it made my day did that u know lol :rasp:, ive never really had a play with a 200 or 197 so it was just gud to have a go. Wud be good to see wot its like with no passengers and same fuel tho but we'll wait for another encounter for that lol. Cheers mate, i love your 200 aswell. after seeing yours a couple of times in the flesh it defo get one in alien green! Have u got any plans for it? or keeping it standard?

Ive got a cup spoiler waiting to go on (to be sprayed gloss black) then some HIDs and finally get the cup alloys sprayed black too.
Was going to get the spoiler in AG but thought I would rather have the contrast of the black on green , should pick out the diffuser/front grill and wing mirrors.
