1.2 16v plug spanner???

Can anyone help me in finding the right plug spanner for my car, and where to buy one from, they are mounted so deep within the engine, a standard plug spanner is too big any ideas where i can get one from??????? bloody modern cars!!! nothing is simple with them AAAARgh

yup they are a b**ch to get hold of.

iirc its a 14mm Deep thin Socket.....funny thing was most garages cudnt get hold of this tool till 6 months after the car was built hehe.

you can use a nomral 14mm deep reach socket but u run the risk of damaging the plug when u lift it out by other means.

lol i used no.2 and put blue tac in the socket on ma old one lol

Yep, you need a 13/14mm (can't remember which) long socket, its pretty much an airtight seal to the walls of the plug hole. Getting them out is a bit of a mish but I used a claw grabber thing, works well enough.
