Hi folks
I am enquiring for a mate who has a 02 clio auto. He says that once the car is running (this sometimes takes a bit of persuasion) after a couple of minutes of straight line driving it conks out.
It then takes a long time to restart the engine. He has a new battery so we will start with that.
I will check dizzy cap, leads, spark / plugs. Doe the clio have a coil that may be overheating ? Is fuel starvaton / blocked filter a possibility ? Engine earths / alternator wiring ?
I am pretty green when it comes to clios so any advice would be gratefully received. I am due to pop over to take a look on thursday so any pointers would be great....
