read the cliosport forums, found a link to a guy who took his clio to a garage which brought a guy from the ministry of transport down to look at it.

basically renault dealers will try...
remember me ? :D im sure around 20 of you do hehe..
the clio is still going strong, but i went for an mot lately and it failed, im a bit stuck on how to fix it and i thought id drop by my old buddies on here.
the car failed on the rear brakes not having enough pressure, something...
had the car back just over a week now thanks to the worst gearbox fixing nightmare ever thought possible :)
hope you are all well, im good and even got some fresh speeding points :/ :D
having listened to more alpine and pioneer (kenwood and clarion too) head units than you can shake a stick at. imho alpines cd players are above all the others
raced a silver 182 on the motorway.. i was gaining on him due to a better gear change, but had to let him go as he had a car coming up.. then we were dead even, he didnt pull away and i didnt gain on him.
born in 1980 so 1999 and 2000.. getting money now adays is sooooo much easier though.. so long as you have credit cards and stuff.. i remember a web site for barclays loans i think ..
you would enter in your details.. incomings, outgoings, and then put your loans, storecards and credit...
1 year of payments.. soo about erm 2500 (interest rates were a killer then)
total payable was about 8700 i think..
the 10k was the extra i needed for a skyline. but i ended up coming to my senses and not buying one. but i did find after i didnt go for the loan i got declined for £500 shop...
i got a 6500 loan @ 19 from hsbc for my scooby (i asked for 8, they said only 6500). at the time money wasnt given away as easily as it is now. and to be honest i asked 1 year later (@20) for a 10k from tesco and they said yer heh
i doubt youd have a prob so long as you pay your bills...
i gave elephant 950 for my clio.. which is currently going through being written off now.. (recovery and paperwork was fantastic i must say)
will let you know how it goes..
admiral/elephant are the same company though, you know that right heh
well, apparently Admiral dont let you buy the salvage. . not sure i want to either.. trying to sell a car thats been written off once is not so bad, but twice .. hmmmmmmmmmmmm heh..
it was the gearbox that wrote it off.. snapped something when the driveshaft ripped out and thats sitting on...
fk knows.. untill i got meh money dno what to do.. not got enuff to buy another cup so ill just have to see what comes along. just gutted over my plate which was my birthday pressie
dno bout the corsa. looked like £200 + labour to repair in my eyes heh (maybe front panel, that was it though)
cup is written off.. so was the corsa i hit lol ..
ahh well.. look on the bright side, least i have a number plate with no car to go on *rolleyes* *sarcasm*
its "THE clio CURSE" dun dun dun....
