Having had a 350z before and spending a fair amount of time in Gary's car before and after the mods, its almost like a different car. Certainly in the flesh it has a lot of presence on the road. Almost all cars will roll even a small amount on track and that pic above was taken on at a dry...
That would be one of the main factors for me - I spend a lot of time in locations without broadband access but with a laptop. Could I use the iphone 3g as a modem? And would it send me over the limit just surfing websites like this? (i.e. not downloading music or videos)
Second question - I see...
Right, time to get into all this detailing lark since those 2 weeks of summer and probably going to appear and I want to be ready ;)
I have read posts on here and briefly read the guide on detailingworld and felt that the best combination is probably Sonus pads with Menzerna polish, so with...
Hate it, front looks like a souped up mk1 Vectra
;)
f**king love that, so nice on every level. The wheels are awesome. Ant are you the guy that we met up with a couple of years ago for the tunnel run when we had V6's? I think...
I like it too, but the general consensus on the MRC forum is that it should be priced around 14-15k and it'll probably not make more than 500bhp. That's not to take anything away from it, nice car but priced too high.
Both those cars look too dark in the photos, however I will say this, photo's don't do decent tints justice, they either make the look like normal glass, or more usually, much darker than they are.
My mini had tints, and imo they were overly dark for the type of car. My beemer has tints too...
It's kinda cool but also a bit of a contradiction...it has the rev counter (like an S2000) and the indicator/lights, etc. but the speedo is a big old skool dial!
Thanks for the tips on the lids, I'll check it out.
^^^ Cool lid!
I used to have a K6 GSX-R600 (agree that the pre-K6's aren't so nice, the new bikes really look so much sharper than the earlier ones, I'm sure dynamically they're pretty similar). Would love a GSX-R1000 but if I go down the two or more bikes route I'll get in big trouble and...
Went in my friends Glanza for the first time last weekend....wow - looks good in white but they're pretty tiny so I didn't expect much - I was wrong! Has bags of torque thanks to the turbo and sounds amazing. He's upgrading to an RX7 soon, I'm sure he'll sell it to you, its got some sick ray's...
Some of you are so closed minded. The in-gear acceleration of this thing will be insane - ok it won't catch a CCX in a 1/4 mile drag race, but I reckon its 30-100 mph timings will put many cars twice its price to shame. Secondly its being criticised for running on diesel and sounding s**t? This...
Thanks but 2 problems:
1) This is the main negative cable, and its thicker than the Halfords/3rd party connectors can accept
2) Typically BMW don't sell the individual bolts, instead its part of the negative cable part. You don't want to know how much that is.
This might sound like a strange question, because this should be easy to find, but I've got a snapped battery terminal clamp bolt. Can anyone suggest where I can buy a new one? I've googled everything I can think of, and come up with nothing!
^^^ This is what I need!
Thanks.
Milton Keynes, yes. Thanks, I'll have a look over on Detailing World and see who's recommended. I'm planning on running this car for a while, but I still want it to look nice...can't stand that swirl look!
I remember one of the Evo long-termers (the Lambo I think) got his detailed every 6...
Ok, thanks chaps - this is the sort of info that saves me a wasted day. Its a 5 series bmw, so yes, it'll be rock solid BMW carbon black.
Who's best for this work and how much?
