Think the black wheels would look pretty good, less hassle keeping them clean but it does look good as it is and the brakes are very impressive!. Cant decide whether to go the refurb to dark grey wheels on mine

Thanks for the positive remarks, your saxo dosnt look bad either mate, but i cant vote it as best looking 172 for you, maybe close second. haha. As for coming out on top, not to sure about that pal.

If i can remember rightly he had taken the whole dash out and painted it with silver model paint, it has has neons behind the grill. Its a real quality piece of s**t, the most expensive piece of s**t ive ever seen although, not the best looking it must be said.

I bought a 200sx then the turbo blew up and cost me 1500 quid, complete money pit, wouldnt have another if someone paid me. Stay away imo

I'd stick with the conti's mate, they've never put a wheel wrong with me, but i work at a renault garage and can get them for £40 a corner.

I work for renault so i can get good discount on the part, i know its about 350+vat to normal trade, could buy then get a custom downpipe made to fit befor fitting to car. 7 hours is a lot of time to pay for though even on the side, does it give good torque gains or just bhp?

Does a 182 exhaust manifold bolt straight on the back of a mk2 172? and if it does is it worth the hassle for the price/perf difference?

How is it that a car thats as old as a cossie still looks so good!? I would have the calipers black or silver, unless you have hi-spec brakes then maybe red or yellow. [Edited by Anotherblue16v on 09 September 2005 at 8:10pm]
