Yes Rob that would be me, the rain must have made it look clean as a bit dirty a moment! Exhaust is blueflame, some slate them but it's been on for 3 years and is sound.
Were you in Bakewell for the day then?
For what you want you only need springs, the original shocks will be fine.
Eibach sportline springs are very good, lower the car about an inch all round.Eibach proline are also good springs but don't lower the car much at all (~5mm). Eitherway the car will handle better than standard.
I've got...
I've got track time for both sessions (11:30 and 2:30) but can't make it as a thug in skegness broke my jaw on a stag do recently :(
Original cost was £78. Will let both sessions go for £50.
Cheers Boz.
Maybe easiest to take the old one off and take to the motor factors or renault. My mate had a simialr problem, I think theres different versions for different years etc. Renault are shite, they got his wrong twice too even after giving the reg plate, until he took the old one in.
Ha ha, I thought you were talking about me in the earlier post, that was ages ago! Admit your car was going well, but being on the M1 and liking my license was a factor. Also my car was tight at the time, and yours wasn't exactly standard was it ;)
All said and done though, I recon the pace of...
I recon this is a good alround exhaust Karen. I'd get the one with two silencers to keep noise down ..

I advise you to get sportlines, rather than prolines. They are only 15-20mm lower than a standard 172/182 set-up. Highly recommended. Get from here ...
What Deb says.
Sportlines on original dampers are fine. The handling is a massive improvement over standard, much the same as Prolines but a bit lower. I've been driving hot hatches for 10 years + and know what I'm on about, the who says you need the prokit is probaly just after your extra £££...
;) Nice one Gaz mate, I was the blue 182 in front of you on track.
Was sometimes hanging back abit to get a good run at corners, there was a 1.4 or something in front that was a wee bit slow :dapprove: . Hope I wasn't holding you up too much. Do you know if anyone got any video footage?
Thanks...
