No need for specialists. Yes my engine is out the car but timing isn't hard if your handy with spanners. It will be tight in the bay but I'll be doing my 172 more than likely. But that's my Megane engine timed up from a full rebuild.

Got this done - Zircotec ceramic coated downpipe.

Cams locked in place!! Zinc plating all the bolts while I'm at it.

Im removing mine on the forged build as i have an after market oil cooler.

You must be doing the initial start up to temp and drop oil though? Mine will be going RS once its all built too

Well done some more work on it over the weekend. Some new heatshielding and fuel pipe heat sheilding. (Just needs to be bolted to the car now) Bolted some bits onto the engine. :boring: I know this gets hidden when the alt bracket goes on but oh well! Just waiting for some new ARP bolts...
