They closed the only maxol garage that was half near to me a couple of years back. Still has all the signage and pumps there. Hopefully somebody decides to open it back up again. Sabelt wheel looks deadly. Gives the all important look to the interior imho. Keep us posted on how thing progress.
Brilliant stuff. Nice choice of mods you have chosen there. Should make a difference alright. I'm curious to see how you get on now with the rs tuner. If i had a maxol near me id be half tempted to get one myself. Will you keep me informed ?
at very best its rated on isdc at 97ron for some people. Even tho maxol rated it as 99ron on there website, it was tested and compared to uk 99 Ron petrol and was miles apart. Different mods affect different specced cars I suppose. Add in the fact there's only 2 maxol garages north side of...
not according to the mapping session on my 409bhp impreza. Even with an added quantity of nf octane booster which is proven and maxol e5 I never got anywhere near 98/99 Ron with both of these. English base 98 Ron map was loaded and still had to r****d timing on the impreza simtek mapping session.
Only have the 95ron petrol here in the south of Ireland so rs tuner no good. Rs clios are rare enough over this side of the water. Parts are like hens teeth here.
Lol at some of the stuff posted here regarding a courtesy car !! Main thing is the chap isn't hurt and through no fault of his own has lost his pride and joy no doubt. Could of been a lot worse judging by the way the van looks.
It sounds like a thing I had in my impreza called blackjax. Code had to be put in every time a door was opened. Incase you got pulled from your car at traffic lights for instance. It would allow them to get 200 yards up the road and cut the engine dead. Good idea but major pain inputting the...
Could take out the tdc sensor and give it a really good cleaning. It may turn over and start when refitted unless its totally duff. Will only take a few minutes to remove and try. Worth a go at least.
Have you tried your tdc sensor ? I had same thing last week. Would only crank over and not start. Changed out the tdc sensor and now fires up 1st time every time. Just a suggestion anyway.
