It locked up mate lol and came off and went back on the same way was all locked up mate.... Pin only goes in one hole till it locks up both ways

Also is not was it was timmed rong the looking pin locked in on the cams and on the crank just is really weird anyone got any thoughts

Fitted a new dephaser from renault dealer and cambelt kit an with correct locking tools and i the car feels alot slower Anyone else had this trouble My only guess is the old knocking pully was so worn and advanced it was holding back more on vtec before it kicks in but it definitely pulled...

Wheels are tyres are brand new lol speedline 2118s so they cant be fucked.... Gonna change wishbones thats the only thing i can think of as solid top mounts are good and when u drive it the play and when pulls is like how can i miss it yet get it on ramp the wheels have no play in them

Yeah there all set up mate its doing the same as the standard shocks with k tec solid top mounts they came on the car

No bearing noises as they rummble when there on way out these are all good the ball jpints are all off my cup might swap wishbones over too but there polly flex on this 182 cant see why it would be them causing the problem

Ive just taking calipers and hubs off my cup guys as the gaz coilies are off my cup and it still does it These breaks dont stick as they only done 50k the disc pads are all new as from today im lost Only does it on harsh throttle and steering feels its got alot of play when i go right lol

Got a funny one here lads just put new gaz shocks on brand new tyres and discs and pads all round not had this 182 long and it pulls to one side on harsh throttle did this when i brought it few weeks ago Its like the subframes lose but its not.... Wish bones are all pollyflexed by last owner...

could of been worse buddy you could of fitted the belt and dephaser and gone through the hard work of putting the engine in to find it knocking its tits off and miss firing lol take the head to scrap your get 20-30 quid for it and weigh the block in too not your fault buddy your friend...

yeah i do want to fit it buddy but i dont want the hassel to take it back out if i can only get 110mph thats why i thought i would ask to see if anyone on here thats been on here a good few years will have a ratio chart of the clio boxes or so

yeh i do 150 from time to time hit it then back off never hold it out for more then a minute, and rebuilding any 172 box will be a good 250plus so thats alot more then 50 pounds plus the casing has a crack so would be pointless

do they mine just about gets 150 if you hold it out on a straight surly you dont want anymore then that

tbh as far as i know all these gearboxes on clios are all very identical an i doubt very much they would put smaller gears in to handle less power maybe smaller in size to have a shorter shift but i dont see why renault would completely redesign gears for each and every box, like the gears from...

yeah just i found a mint looking one thats rather close to me so dont have to travel so much as we all know its an arse of a job taking all the sub out ect so i dont want to fit a gearbox that will only last a couple of months

cant seem to find a ration chart anywere has any one fitted a 1.2 box in there 172 if so whats there top speed, and is there another box people seem to fit instead of the standard 172 box

someone must be able to help what bits the tricky bit does the clutch still fit on the shaft and do the driveshafts still fit please can someone shed some help on this ive just brought a new car so havent got the money to waste getting the correct box for it

does the noise get louder as you corner or louder when you corner one way, check your discs baking plates ect you could of picked up a stone or somthing thats got stuck

bloody hell to be honest mate im saving 400 quid and just 1kg heavier then fibre doors is it really worth it mate as i could proberly get another kg out of mine but i looked at it and thought thats light enough seeing as each doors like 40kg with door cards

bloody hell were your jenveys new ??? can i asked how you worked out that your set up will be cheaper the a rs2 the rs2 is 1150 on a group buy youve brought jenveys for 600 so thats half a rs2, an second hand tps sensor for a jenvey is around 50 quid a filter is gonna be 50 so thats 700 then...
