Nice Hornet, had one of those a couple of years ago, good fun bike and much more comfortable for most riding than a sports bike. I made the mistake of going back to a sports bike, and had to change again, currently got a Street Triple R.

Do headlight washers actually do anything anyway? If you spray water at your car it doesn't really clean it does it, and your windscreen wouldn't look any better without using the wipers. I can't say I've seen mine dirty enough to notice if they actually do anything or not.??

It was on an 03 plate, it was possibly a Renault show car, had a body kit on it, we got it early 07 with about 1000 miles on the clock. Think it had been sat around for a while before anyone did anything with it!

Yeah, you're right, trouble is we've got this gravel drive, and with all this rain it's turned to mud, it's a real pita, gotta get some tarmac in,lol. Cheers.

We had a Meg CC, with that engine, for a few months, on the way from an MX5 (after we had kids and the 2 seater had to go) to the current 225 Meg. TBH it was a pretty flat engine, esp in the CC, neither fast nor economical, and I soon got bored, esp as it rained all summer and the window seals...

Yup, they're the full size version mate, 18"s. I think they're mainly on the earlier models, mine's late 2004 reg, later ones have the Trophy / R26 style, same size though I think, although R26s have 235 tyres the rest 225s, iirc.

Gotta take some more photos of that too, had twin arrow exhausts fitted just before I put it away for the winter. I would recommend these to anyone, just about the best bike I've had, and I've had a few, lol, much to my missus annoyance.

I don't think that's too bad for very short trips, most of the cars I've had are not good on fuel over very short distances.
