Cheers, I flatted all the original lacquer off, which is the bit that goes all yellow and vile, added a tiny bit of black to some lacquer, and lacquered them.
yeah LY is a 3 stage. you need to obviously prime it, then spray the solid ground coat on until the primer is covered. then only usually 2-3 coats of pearl when the ground coat is dry. obviously the more pearl, the more effect youll get.

I've fitted a ph2 172 subframe to my dci65 because mine was bent, and its completely thrown tracking off. I will get it on the geo ramp later to have a quick look but just to confirm, is the 172 subframe the same as the std dci one? Apart from gearbox mount. It seems to me like it could be...
I dunno whether there's anything wrong with my dci65 but I normally get about 400-450 miles to a fill up, thats start stop rush hour driving. I'd imagine motorway driving it would be much better.
800 or 1000 wet and dry to flat imperfection and feather paint edge, then I would 1500 that after to remove scratches that the courser grade would leave. Obviously use water with the wet and dry, and you could put some washing up liquid in with it to minimise scratching. And as above, clear coat...
I wouldn't bother. I did it to mine relatively cheap as I did all the paintwork/strip and fitting of parts myself, and sourced all bits cheaply. But it's the sorta thing that will cost much more than the car is worth. Just my 2 cents
