yeh rsi has std size non flared arches so on a valver it should be easier. if you mean the fuel filler pipe you can heat it up with a hair dryer and squash it and let it go hard again its only the vent pipe that needs doing

the difference in offset wont help, i had changed my std rims to 17s ( mk1 Rsi) they had a 35 mm offset and it was terrible on handling i have now changed these to 18s with a 38mm offset and it is as good if not better than with the std rims.

hold the main piston on the strut with mole grips you can get one in between the springs coils only do this if you are throwing the shox tho
