Hi all,
I was checking my oil yesterday and noticed I have a very wobbly bit of metal in my engine bay. Im not sure what its for, just a cover? But im very worried :S
Can anyone tell me what it is, and is it a prob, or even dangerous?
I had been hearing a slight rattle when close to...
Hmmm oki, sounds good :)
Anyone know how whether it affects the warrenty changing the discs?
Also, brakes is the only thing I have never changed on any cars ive owned, only ever been exhausts, suspension, engine. Should I bother letting my insurance company know for brakes?
Ah ok. They not drilled or grooved... Arnt drilled ones better? Sorry about my lack of knowledge on brakes :)
Oh and would new calipers help? And EBC Yellow stuff much better than green?
Nah I wont be doing track days. But I do drive my car very hard. Pretty much as hard as I would on a track :( I know i shouldnt, but I just find sometimes they faded too fast.
I once had a problem about 6 months ago from about 20mph where there just was no braking power at all. I went to...
Hi all,
Im at my 24k service time on my 182 (cupped), and im sure they are gonna say I need new pads. So I was thinking now is the time to change them from the original ones. I want to have better braking, especially after alot of use.
Can anyone recommend what I should go for, should I change...
Your reg L* CUP by any chance? :D
Think it was me ;)
If it is, also saw your car parked at the office buildings along Windmill Road when I was passing there couple of days ago.
Toyos are bloody great. Done 700 miles on mine now. Only really driven fast in the dry with them, and they seem much better than my old yokos. Havnt had a chance to test in the wet yet.
Reset the trip computer? Surely if they gonna take it out for a long drive, they will just reset it again.. You should of remembered what millege it was at, then work it out ;)
I reckon cis (co-op insurance) will sort you out a good deal on this. Got an any driver policy (including under 21s with permission) on my dads brand new 3litre v6 lexus (£38k car). Means I can drive it fully comp, and it wernt much more than the any driver policy he had on a 4grand clio before.
I believe you have to tell them at time of renewal? Not if u get them during the period ure already insured. Or at least thats so with mr trunkie at elephant.
Yeah but, the laser detectors , like the one that comes with origin b2 helps, cause the cop might be targetting another car , it would pick it up and warn u? Then youll have a few seconds to slow down at least?
