just have been working at it and noticed that the breather going from the rocker to the turbo is completely blocked nothing is getting through it,
would this cause oil consumption problems?
pressure?
oh shes smoking alrite, put the boot down and you cant breathe,
would i see oil in the exhaust side of the turbo if i took the cat off? or would it burn straight away anyway?
oil is running out of my dci engine, 1.5 litres per week, there isnt much oil in intake pipes,
i was wondering is it possible that all the oil leak is coming from the exhaust side of the turbo?
if i pull the cat of the turbo would i see oil or would it have burned off?
burning oil is...

its been suggested on dci.net that it is probably fuel system related?
any ideas
is there anyway of narrowing it down next time i go to look at the car?
2002 clio 1.5dci 65 not starting, but turning over fine
starts with a bump start no problem and drives fine until turned off, a little lumpy
was wondering if it starts with a bump but not with the starter could it be a tdc sensor?
any ideas?

right il get that sorted then, strange, only light on dash is the airbag light, funny though the side repeaters stopped working recently, wonder if thats related
seen a dci clio with no turbo today, the seals had went and the inlet ran straight from the airbox to egr,
the plugs where all unplugged, egr, boost sensor, ect, all from that loom, the car ran fine just low on power,
when the throttle was booted it chucked out a bit of black smoke from the...
please that would be brilliant, i have done a clutch before, but on a ramp with plenty of help and special tools,
wasnt sure if it was possible on the drive

clutch needs replaced on a clio dci,
what are they like to do, i have basic tools and a driveway, is there a basic guide to doing one on a clio?
i have decent skill as a diy mechanic, i did the turbo on the clio the other week, so have decent knowledge, but what sort of job is it on a clio...
after a turbo change, (before clouds of smoke) now i get a puff of blast smoke when the throttle is on the floor, the rest of the time its fine.. any ideas? it smells almost rotten eggy out of the exhaust..
second the car is still using a load of oil, its used about half a litre in a few...
turbo in today, idled fine, and seems wuite torquey low down, but as soon as it goes over 2.5 revs it has no power, seems to be a little smoke under the bonnet as well,
still blowing smoke out the exhaust but i only took it for a very little drive,
any ideas why power would be low?
when i bought the clio the airbag light was on noticed the pretensioner had fired,
replaced the tensioner and checked the plugs under the seat,
light is still on,
when the tensioner goes off, and is replaced does the computer fault need to be erased in order to get the light off?
