I'd just joined from the M27 J3 roundabout and a blue 182 came firing round the outside of me, not so closely followed by a silver non-1*2. I would've joined in, but I was giving my Mum a lift back from the airport and she's not the racing type :(
I've ordered a couple of lengths of ducting from Ebay, I think when it comes towards the time to sell, it will look better with the ducting in place.
Thanks for the replies :)
Whilst removing the airbox today I found the inlect duct needs replacing. Is there a better alternative to the rigid wound fabric one, or shall I just get a like for like replacement. It would seem that a flexible hose would be better... opinions?
Magic, cheers mate.
What I meant was that it sometimes blows cold, and sometimes it just pumps out hot air, even with it set on 16 degrees (or mini).
I'm not bothered about having it on in winter really (although its better at demisting than just blowers), I just don't want to damage it...
Whilst trying to find a rattle over the weekend I found that the two brackets that are fixed to the bottom of the air con condenser, which hold it in place, have both snapped.
This means the condenser is only attached at the top, leaving the bottom half to swing backwards and forwards, banging...
It's actually the air condenser i'm talking about. Which makes sense, as the air con has been intermittently working lately (and smelling when it does work).
Does this sound like the condenser has broken?
I think I've got a bad earth somewhere. When I reverse, my fog light comes on and my indicator sort of comes on, and apparently when I brake and indicate, the brake light dims when the indicator flashes.
The wiring diagram in the haynes manual indicates a possible problem with earth location...
Whilst under the car yesterday, trying to find the source of a rattle, I found the two fixings at the bottom of the radiator that hold it in place have both broken. This means its swinging backwards and forwards and clanging everytime it does. Not sure if this is the cause of the noise or not...
Yeah, surprisingly it has improved in the 21 years since it's release....
Didn't say they were, just that there's big money in Java, which there is.
Such is life :/
Why don't you use cars as a subject matter, that's a classic one anyway Vehicle -> Car -> Clio. You'll already know the inheritance chain, what properties are common to all vehicles/only cars/only clios, what behaviours and interactions are present, etc. It makes writing the program much easier...
I've done quite a few technical tests in my time and I would say that your best bet is to just code something fairly simple that demonstrates understanding of programming concepts, patterns and structures. The actual subject matter is irrelevant... I got asked to code a chicken once (yeah...
I accidently left this connector off when I changed the plugs the other day, the throttle peddle didn't work and the car gradually increased in revs on it's own. I switched it off when it got to 2krpm, but it sounded like it would have climbed to 3... I also had the dash light on.
Or any of these...

Thats a nice profit. I'd take the mrs and bugger off somewhere hot for 2 weeks.
F**k that!
I'd have let it go, then bought this one as a replacement... https://www.newreg.co.uk/secure/buy/index.html?registration=L55%20EEJ&marketingId1=0&marketingId2=0
I use Daily (daily.co.uk) they're a UK based company, they'll offer you as much or as little a service as you need. You can just register the domain name, you can have email through them as well, or you can go the whole hog and have a fully fledged e-commerce site. You can get a range of hosting...
"...the look on her face and i know when something dodgy has just happened"
Clearly, so much so that even when this happened right in front of you, you actually didn't clock it until you'd left the store, waited for, travelled home on and got off the bus, and then sat around until 10pm!!
What...
Hell fcking yeah! Kids throwing stones, stones next to your car, stone damage on the car. Not exactly rocket science. £700!! You must be made of money if you're going to let that slide....
I wouldn't stand for that if the neighbours were my best friends, let alone just some people you get along...
