get a voltmeter, stick the 2 leads onto the + and - on your amp. check your voltage. not sure where is best to take the earth from, but some cleaned up bodywork is adviseable. how do you know you're getting a feed from your remote ? to test it, i'd take a 12v feed and touch that on...

what's your budget ? if you're talking £500 then i'd suggest something different to if you were talking £100. do you want them with tweeters or ?? iirc, clio's fit tweeters in the dash. you can either put them there, but for better sound / aiming, i'd suggest going into your A pillars...
