get a voltmeter, stick the 2 leads onto the + and - on your amp. check your voltage.
not sure where is best to take the earth from, but some cleaned up bodywork is adviseable.
how do you know you're getting a feed from your remote ?
to test it, i'd take a 12v feed and touch that on...
what's your budget ?
if you're talking £500 then i'd suggest something different to if you were talking £100.
do you want them with tweeters or ??
iirc, clio's fit tweeters in the dash. you can either put them there, but for better sound / aiming, i'd suggest going into your A pillars...
if you are going to go for lighting, i'd personally recommend cathodes. a lot smaller than neons, and easier to fit / hide.
another trick, if you've got perspex, get is engraved and stick a light below this - it looks awesome.

You'll be able to get a small box made, but don't go to close to the back of the sub. I agree at minimum an inch, but possibly more. Don't worry about not making it square, not that you could in this situation.

you are correct here. in an ideal world the smaller the driver the more responsive. think about it this way, what's easier to change direction - a clio or a bus.
BUT, now days with the way speakers are designed you can get 15's or even 18's that will be damn accurate ( RE XXX's, orion H2's...
mr sleeman - i know you ;) - yes, i've had a red 106 with a "no wall" install in. then a blue 106 with 3 x 15's in a wall. i now run a van with 3 x 15's in.
