LOL my old car! Thought I'd search for the reg and here it is!
Had it from new until June 07 when I got an R26 (which I'm now selling!). Absolutely loved it and am considering getting a 182 as a 2nd car to go along with an Exige S :D
Hello everyone,
My 182's warranty expires in a couple of months but what about the AA cover? Does that expire also? I've read through the warranty manual but its not clear.
Thanks
Max

Only available at certain BP sites at the moment.
I have a problemn with my brakes a while ago. I took it back to Renault and they discovered a faulty caliper and replaced it. My brakes are no way as good as they were when I got the car though.
Any good replacement products available?
same thing happened to me in my last clio. Boxster owner seemed to think he was more important than me, he was partly in my lane on a narrow road. Resulted in my mounting the kerb, scratching my alloy and one totally smashed wing mirror. He didn't even stop either!
sorry to hear it happened...
I had this problem, turned out to be a sticky caliper. I took it in moaning, checked it out for about an hour while I waited and then refused to give me back the car as it was deemed dangerous! They replaced it under warranty.
Just got new front tyres for my 182 from Merrow Tyres in Farnham, Surrey. £105.75 each inc. valve, fitting, balancing and waste disposal of the old tyres. Very quick and friendly service. Had the tyres in the next day after I phoned up.

Im not convinced my brakes are as they were when I bought the car. Id like to bleed the brakes myself rather than have to pay someone else to do it. However Ive read that when bleeding the brakes on a car with ABS you need to activate the ABS to get all the old fluid out! Do you have to use some...
Oms,
Do you have to use some special gizmo when bleeding the brakes? Ive read that when bleeding the brakes on a car with ABS you need to activate the ABS to get all the old fluid out!
Thanks

That would be me!! I saw ya at the last moment, was in a world of my own. I live in Godalming but as the A3 was chocka I decided to go the scenic route to avoid the traffic through Guildford.
My 182 went into Renault for its first service a week and a bit ago. I got it back with an oil leak as you described and my brakes not working. They supposedly sealed the rocker cover leak and replaced offside front calliper. Brakes are better but still not brilliant as they were.
I got one of those trays for my old Dynamique, dont use it in my 182. It just got in the way when trying to load the boot. It also leaves marks where it hangs on the plastic bits either side!
Mine cracked after about a month of getting it last year. I got one from Renault for about £70 plus VAT iirc. It wasnt easy to fit as its a tight space and I had to find the nuts by hand. Got a few cuts but its not too bad and took about 45 mins.
