I P/X my 200 in December after 6 years ownership. Thought they would ship it off to Copart or some back alley garage but no, looks like they've kept it and reselling for a premium...
Engine management fault. You'll probably find that the car will only be in limp mode/ reduced performance - you wont be going very fast.
Can't say for sure what the problem could be. I was getting this intermittently over a period of months. Renault diagnostic told me it was the pedal box at...
I did consider making an offer but I needed it asap so paid full price. Didn't want to wait around for "the boss" to make a decision.
Having said that, when I messaged them through eBay about the fitment they responded in less than an hour, so if I was buying again I would def put in an offer...
My car was like this for ages when I got it. Despite having the tracking checked several times and being told it was fine, it was always two hands on the wheel when pressing on or I'd be into the nearest parked car. Eventually took it to a wheel alignment place where they said the front wheels...
Cheers. Just had a look and couldn't find one on gsf or ecp. Any chance of a link to one (anywhere) to save me lugging that centre section around town?
I recently bought this http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=180968135090 only to find the exhaust on my car appears to be one continuous unit from cat joint to back boxes. Am I correct that I'll need...
Well, bit of a story to it..
Car kept going into limp mode and emissions light was on. Took it in, they "fixed" it, 30 mins driving home and the fault came back. Repeat 2x and I was totally pissed off. Told them to keep the car until they made sure it was done properly.
Got rinsed to the tune...
Mine was doing exactly this, not popping up and what seemed like no tension on the handle when pulled. Renault fixed it free of charge for me about this time last year, so you've got a good chance of getting yours done too.
To answer my own question and for anyone else looking for this, called them today and they confirmed that these are correct fitment for 182 with cup suspension.
Are you sure it's held in with nuts (Mk2 182 FF)? When I saw it hanging out there was a good inch or so showing, right up to the connector block & wires on the right hand side.
Some complete assclown has stolen the bulbs/led's/whatever's in there from my spoiler, right outside my front door. I am fuming!
Came out today and noticed the fitment sticking out from the spoiler. Pushed it back in thinking it was strange but didn't give it a second thought. Only when it...
Old thread bump..
Has the price of a standard renault exhaust dropped in the last 10 months since this was posted? Mine is looking rotten as charlie, not blowing yet but i'm on borrowed time
Plus call me weird but i like the non-sound of the standard pipes, cant be doing with a rude bwoy loud...
Which dent man did you use for those prices? I got rinsed for £168 for 1 large dent & 2 shallow ones in my bonnet.
The locals have been using my car for target practice and now i've got 2 rear quarter, 1 driver's door and 1 passenger door dents that need sorting. Dent place I went to will prob...
Do this.
Wouldn't recommend anyone put speakers on a parcel shelf unless they like the sound of rattling. Worse place for speakers ever (unless you're going full custom build/install).
As much as i wanted to say this, the thought of finding a nice deep key-scratch down the side of my car the next day stopped me
Nicely put, next time i'm gonna try the ipod trick - plug it in, turn it up and avoid eye contact with the persistent ones that can't take the hint
Cheers, will try the cardboard first (plenty laying around). If my ass is too soft for that will hunt for an old pillow/cushion about the house.
Spent 5 hours on the car yesterday at which point some of my neighbours and random passing muppets were close to being murdered due to their stupid...
How do you effectively machine polish the lower parts of a car, for example below the trimline and bumpers?
I had a real hard time getting low and controlling the machine, eventually gave up as my back and knees were killing me and polished by hand. I've looked for online vids but only found...
This thread prompted me to take a look at mine, front drivers side has been squashed flat by some numpty previous owner
But what use is it in a 182? Not like I have a spare wheel anyway
So it looks like the button slides forwards then pushes down into this indentation to hold it there. From what I can see the moulding on mine is a bit shallow. I've been scraping away at it with a flat-head screwdriver to make it deeper, seems to be working so far.
