    Has Anyone Bought Renault Dialogys

Ive had a couple of the dialogys discs off ebay and too be honest they are sometimes more hassle than there worth, if you get them to install, (and its a big if) then yes they are really helpful and informative for a lot of things, but installing them seems to be really difficult for some...

May be worth getting your mot done before January

The way I understand it, I have xenons fitted to my cup and they passed because no washers or headlight levelling system was fitted to the car when new, therefore nothing to test against in regards to these, My old phase 1 rear seat belts knackered up and refused to move, while I was waiting...

Sub & amp fitting to factory head unit help

You can get a FLI in line audio converter, which allows you to take an audio feed from your rear speakers instead of the head unit, I did this on a ph1 before and it was a pretty neat setup, thus eliminating the need for an rca out feed.

3/4 plates, are they worth the hassle?

Ive had a 3/4 plate on the front of mine for around a year now, has passed its mot and never gets any bother off the police, spacing and lettering are standard so still looks ok.

    Another HID thread...

If anyone cares to spend 10 minutes going searching for official 2012 VOSA mot manual, look under the lighting section, no where does it say xenon kits are illegal, just that if self levelling/washers are fitted, they must work correctly like any part of the mot test. I have also enquired about...

    help??? front light bulbs.....

Have you read the latest mot manual for 2012? it states that if headlight washers are fitted they must work just like any other device on a car, as the cup doesnt have them, it is no problem for retrofitting a xenon kit as long as it doesnt dazzle other drivers and is aimed correctly etc. I...

    172 Cup or 182 ??

I currently own a 172 cup which is for sale and have had the normal 172 and ph1 as well, all I can say is they are so much better to drive than the normal car, the slight loss of toys is very much worth it, its sharper, more agile and goes a lot better, not to say mine is ragged as some have...

    help??? front light bulbs.....

Mine certainly arent facing the ground, they are adjusted correctly so that they work properly and illuminate the road without blinding other drivers.

    help??? front light bulbs.....

Ive had a retrofit xenon kit fitted to my 172 cup for the past 18 months, never get pulled, passed two mots with them on at different garages, and they never dazzle other drivers as the headlight level is set to 3 so they never really get high enough to be a problem. If you want to fit them...

    HELP! - Mk2 1.2 16v suddenly really sluggish + exhaust emissions light

Have you tried a code reader yet? that will usually tell you what sensor is at fault, If it is an emissions light I would guess it is the Lambda sensor.

    Skoda fabia splitter

Yeah very easy, jack up the car, take old splitter off if fitted, line up new splitter with bumper, mark ends of new one with a knife or similar where the bumper ends and cut off excess, fit the new splitter with self tappers (I lined mine up to the original screw holes so went straight on)...

    17's on a 172

Not a fan of wheels like that on a clio tbh, they look too chunky and tall, dont really suit the car. like others have said a good set of turinis which are 16" will see a big improvement, also the reason for bad handling is probably bad tyres if you have budgets on it, get some turinis with...

    Rear Disc crack. How??!

Had that exact thing happen on my cup after a few miles as the caliper had seized and overheated the disc! the disc had turned a nice shade of light blue from the heat, rebuilt the calipers with new discs and pads and all was well again.

Some help with stereo wiring please!

The connector looks right to me, its got the yellow and red which are live feeds, a black negative cable, I believe the two smaller cables control the stereo dim for when the lights are on and can't remember the other off hand, not too sure on the little black cable, has it been stripped down at...
