I just sold it lol......couldnt be annoyed with it, breaks and all were fine, spark plugs and coil pack were just replaced but wouldnt go over 80mph for some strange reason.....strange but never to worry, i will be back, hopefully 182 next year lol

Car wont go over 80 no matter what i do and will only do about 40mph up a hill and has to be in second or 3rd gear. Why is it like this? Ive put new coil pack and spark plugs in car. What can i do to help it exceed this? Thanks, Kennie

I would change; spark plugs air filter oil filter + oil gearbox oil brake fluid or change this when changing pads next time.

why does the 8v go faster than the 16v then?

Hi, Recently sold my 98 1.2 clio for a 2001 1.2 clio but seems to have been a bad move although was only £200 really once i sold the value of my other car. I got the car 2 weeks ago, first thing to notice on a long journey up motorway was that it didnt go over 80mph at 4000revs in 5th gear...

Should i maybe spray it matt black even or would that still look junk?

I dont like the stripe, wonder how hard it is to merge a ph2 and ph1 bumper, like the top half off the ph1 so it fits on and the bottom half of the ph2. Anyone ever done this before?? I wouldnt leave it completely open, would maybe put honeycomb grill in place, jus think a big open mouth...

Its just the standard colour, there 215/55/15 at the moment lol! Going to get 185/45/15 i think in next few weeks

Ok got foglights fitted just have to figure out how to wire them up and got blue indicators also, just uploading pictures now :D Anymore suggestions or critism's welcome....will hopefully get a wash at the weekend and get proper camera pictures at last instead of iphone ones lol!!

Got foglights, picking them up tomorrow, well today if i go by the clock so expct more updates and hopefully get rears on wednesday.....will keep everyone posted, think after that its membership time :D

Ok got a new air filter for my clio, nice carbon fibre jobby. Got it of ebay for £4 delivered although it doesnt have the hosing, im wondering were can i get the hosing from the throttle body to go to the air filter?? Ive measured the width on the air filter is 73mm and on the throttle body...

Rite this stuff is definately the real stuff, when i went to fit it to the 2 items it was a nightmare to bend and now i have the items looking like pigs sh*t and im down 2 A4 pages of the stuff. Anybody any tips on how to wrap this stuff around stuff with getting it kinking due to the curvy...

Ok got it dewipered today, looks far better i think, went to remove renault badge but seems to be 2 pins on the inside of the boot, not sure weither these come through for the badge, can anyone help? Also got my carbon fibre number plates today and took the facia of the speedo so it has blue...

Cant say ive had the same problem thankfully, i know my door did rattle but got the wheels aligned and seemed to stop most off the rattling.

Well it has proper weave and stuff which made me think it was, feels so real, everyone that ive shown it to has said its bound to be real, going to experiment tomorrow and do my rear view mirror and the light surround on the roof, hoping all goes well :P
