Thanks Jonny, Ive checked the lightsand they seem to be behaving themselves and Ive had the battery replaced in the key on your advice.
It started fine this morning, but Ive just been out to lunch and it took 4 attempts of locking/opening - hearing the high pitched beep twice to reset itself...
Sorry for the confusion - I meant resetting with the key by way of locking/unlocking the car. No the alarm doesnt keep going off. The car cranks over fine, it does not get slower whilst turning over, so maybe its not the battery then?
I need some advice..... My 2005 182 is getting very tempramental on these cold mornings.
The engine turns over but it just wont start. I end up having to get out of the car and locking then opening it a couple of times until I hear the alarm reset itself, then it will start - but this...
Thanks for that.
I have been told that there is a Renault specialist in Bromley called Harringtons. But would like to know what there like before I book my car in there.
Anyone got any other reputable places in mind?
JMS are in Uxbridge which is a nightmare for me to get to (driving accross London is a mission) but thanks for the tip anyway. :)
Im in Croydon if thats any help?
I would really appreciate some advice...
My 182 is 5 years old this year and I have done 26k miles. I have been told that I need to get the cam belt done this year but my local renault dealer has quoted me £650 to do this!!!!!
Should I get this done with the main dealer or does anyone...
