This has happened 3 times now, I have got in the car and its said the oil level is ok, do 4 or 5 miles stop for 2 mins to nip in to a shop, get back in and it says I have no oil and the service light stays on. Now there is now oil on the floor where it has been parked, theres no blue smoke...

That's what I mean the aux belt sorry lads. It's not due to be changed for a few thousand yet. So what we thinking cam belt? Is it a common problem? The aux belt has been changed since new. New head time then?? Or cheaper to just change the engine? It's a 172 cup btw

Was out tonight in 5th at 60-70mph when suddenly there was alot of noise and no drive. Knocked it out of gear and the engine died, tried 5th then 4th down to 1st until the car came to a stand still. Tried turning it on and it was not having it just lots of horrid noise. Looked under the bonnet...

Jesus, just read this thread. It's like a 106 owners reunited isn't it. glad its not just me who has made the switch to clio 172 cup. Still have the S1 rallye rally car in pieces lol. Must say its odd to see fuzzy as a mortal not a mod/owner lol Steve
