F1s over 502 anyday! If you are interested in WET performance then the F1 wins hands down against the 502s.
The Newer Falken 512s are slightly better in the wet than the 502s but not upto scratch when compared to the F1s.
DASH, for 25K you could have gotten a 2nd hand skyline R33 or R34 that will piss all over your beloved V6, six speed.
Also as another option if you really wanted 6 gears and 150+mph then you can pump a few K of the 10K you would save into the CUP to get this, but WHY! 6 gears isnt anything...
WEYLAND sounds like a man of experience as he is a 360er.
Let that be a statement that the VTS will out handle a 172, and track or road...it doesnt matter. The VTS will stick to the road that little bit better and this has been proved and agreed by owners who have had both VTS and 172.
Id...
So you lot admit that you are biased, fair enough, but what would you all say if I had a EVO 6 and claimed that I can MASH a 172 in a staight line, or corner or anything for that matter!
WOULD YOU ALL COME BACK SAYING "MY 172 WILL DESTROY IT..." I dont think so!
This applies to any car...even your 1.2 16ver.
No car in the world if pushed beyond its limits will keep you on the road...but that is pretty obvious, to MOST!
What you got to take into consideration is the limits, some have more than others...NO disrespect on yours there pal!

Going alittle off topic, for what VTRS are they are top value.
Disc brakes all round, great suspension and a cracking 8v lump and cheap cheap insurance. Very similar to the VTS, but with a 6V instead of 16v engine. Saxos are the best selling small car, and that must be because they are the...

Well said there pal...I admit that on paper the 172s have the advantage, but thats only on paper!
As you say any of the cars you listed have the capability to keep up and take and 172...yet they cost a fraction of the price.
Anyway maybe it is the fact that I have the ability and confidence...
