http://www.rs192.co.uk/page1.htm apparently they did test the system. I dunno if its true or not!! Anyway regardless, not a bad system for around £340.
My car may have already been down on power because the stock exhaust was on its way out for a while now (apparently back box may have been blocked), but certainly since the new one was fitted it does feel faster. Whether this is because it's up by 10bhp from 182 or whether its back to normal, I...
Hi guys,
My stock exhaust decided to go end of last week, so obviously had to get replacement. Read over numerous threads and peoples opinions and finally opted to go for the scorpion rs192, as this was apparently as close to the stock exhaust in terms of noise. Didn't want anything too...
Thats what I was looking at getting or the E39 530! But after taking everything into consideration (running cost, services, parts etc) I opted to go for the clio. I do still look at these cars in admiration though, cause they're brilliant..
Why don't you supercharge it??
As above, on the motorway on the way back into manchester at around 9.45 pm.
Overtook and put my hazards on (like a geek) to say hello and appreciation of good taste!!
I was in a Silver 182

cheapest guys around or the guys at Birchdown. Both highly recommended and both clio specialist.
yeah it does.
can you still hear it if you rev higher then 2k? If you can then it may be something else. If you can't then its 99% the dephaser pulley.
apparently they dont fail, but its a good idea to get it changed.
I've driven 3000 miles since I've noticed it and nothing has...
I think the 200 looks really nice. A bit more bold in styling without over doing it!!
Agreed on the presenter. Did anyone see the Porsche and the Aston video? Just as bad.
Testing cars would be my dream job, you'd think they would have a little more enthusiasm about what they do!
I'm getting mine changed next friday. Getting it done with the aux and cambelts as they all need to come out to get to it. think they cost about 130 odd quid + fitting.
I'm paying 610 for the lot inc service.
Heres the link to mine, scroll down to see the video...
People get a little defensive when it comes to clio comparisons. What we're forgetting is that the Mini is nearly 3 times more then the clio. If you really want to go faster then the mini stick a supercharger in and other mods and still have some change left to buy another daily driver...
It was the new version with the Turbo. Everything about the new mini is different to the old.
the numbers between the mini and the 182 are pretty much exactly the same. But I still think round a track 182 will be faster. Day to day the cooper S is a very capable car, good car to live with...
I've had my 182 now for about 2 months and I absolutely love it, but I got a chance yesterday to drive a new cooper S.
I went and picked the mini up for my parents from Leicester and drove it back to Manchester, drove on the motor way and then over the snake pass.
I got to say, I've...
I thought that kind of mileage was normal. Mine returns 26.3 mpg lol. I only drive in town though.. May have to look into this deeper now this has been brought to my attention.
My dad, had one of these, but in red..Was a hard top version, but you could lift the roof of and have it as a convertible. Loved it. Do the Wheels scrape when on full lock?
Took it to a garage today near to where I bought it from and the guy there said that it sounds normal for a clio thats done 62,000 miles. I had a little disagreement with him and told him he's talking rubbish.
I can't really afford to get it fixed at the moment. I've done 500 miles since...
Do you guys think the car is ok to drive until I get it sorted or will it cause damage to anything else?
Think I'm gonna get in touch with NW performance and get it booked in.
cheers for that mate
I think it may need the belts doing anyway, so might aswell get it all done at the same time. How much will it all cost to get done??
Can I buy the belts cheaper from elsewhere or is it better getting them from renault??
